What saddles do you all have on your Connies?

Bigger seats on smaller panels is a funny thing, makers say it can be done, and do it, but it's always a compromise and will only work on some shaped backs. Shortening the footprint means reducing how high you can support the saddle at the back, as shorter means lower. I would contact HQ or Nina Ball who would be both localish to you and chat through your issues with them, the saddles have plenty of space in them so often you don't need as large a seat as you think.

There's a price list in the drop down Saddles menu.

Appreciate the reply. Thank you. They do look like beautifully made saddles and a couple of friends have highly recommended them, going to see what other options we have before spending a couple of thousand on her first saddle (just incase something happens) but well worth knowing :)

Most or all of the fitters will have a service, paid for or not, to advise on what model(s) to look for second hand, and some carry a little used stock, as does HQ. They also run the "Used Native Pony & Cob Saddles...." group on FB where you'll find most of them that are for sale privately.
