well ive got my little pony, who over the past two months has just come off of being on box rest for six months due to an accient that he had whilst i was on holiday he manged to fracture his back leg, at the moment im just building back up his muscle by light hacking, long reining, walking out etc... but no hard work as im far too big for him now, i weigh 9stone 4pounds and he's only 13.1hh and a fine little pony!! i dont have time for him anymore as ive got a new horse which ive had for the past seven months. my little sister was suppose to take over him, but is sooooooooo scared of him, he can be a right pain in the back side, and it took me just over too years to learn how to ride him as he was my first pony, i feel as though i should put him out on loan, but i would'nt be able to trust anybody with him, he is sooo special to me and he suffers from laminitis and ive just got this feeling not to let him go, but he needs the TLC he needs someone to ride him, but its just the troudle of finding someone whos not scared of him and that will be able to handle the little monster

PLEASE HELP!!! xoxSamixox

What about putting him out on loan/share, but to stay at present yard, were your current horse is. This way you can still keep an eye on him and someone else can ride him.

Good luck with him x

Sharing is a good idea - to stay on the same yard. That way you can keep an eye on him and have some peace of mind. I used to have a shared when I was at college and she did a really good job looking after my horse for me. Don't just let anyone share though - make sure you are happy with them first
