What should he wear? Help please

I have 2 riding daughters but now my son aged 11 has suddenly got the bug. We're planning on taking him to a 1st ridden class next weekend and I don't know about dressing boys for shows - only girls!! Are there any no-nos??? He's got beige jods, and the rest is flexible.................THANKS!

I think it is pretty much the same as for girls. But with no ribbons in the hair! Good Luck

Pity he can't sweep off his hat to the judge - I suppose this isn't allowed any more as hats have to be fastened.

I saw a boy do this at Dublin when I was there - it was so impressive and it must have impressed the judge as well as he won the class (the pony was nice too!).
