Am selling my old rice trailer which takes 2 16.2hh horses - or would if I still had the partition!! Am in the process of getting a larger Ifor Williams because I prefer them and they are no way near as heavy.
Its fairly old but has a good floor (redone about 2 years ago), a single breast bar and light board on the back. Its fairly tatty although works just fine. It could do with some improvements doing to it although I'm happy just to sell it as it is. The front ramp matting is a bit torn and the jockey wheel is a bit old - but again works perfectly. It does have 5 good tyres in its favour!!
Would anyone want an old trailer like this if I asked £500 or so for it? Or should I do some work on it and then sell it for more? Do I put it on Ebay or try and sell it locally? Would anyone want it without a partition? I guess there are people who only have one horse and don't need a partition!! We do have the partition except its in Leicestershire and I'm in Dorset and so would have to drive and get it which would take about 8 hours round trip and cost a fortune.
Any thoughts?
