Hi, I have a 15.3hh tb ex racer 5yrs old who I am going to advertise. She has 3 balanced paces and can do basic school manouvers and pop small fences. What I want to know is if you were looking to buy what else would you like to see the horse have done? Should I concentrate more on getting her jumping better or maybe take her to do some dressage comps instead? Is there anything else you would want a young horse to have done if you were looking to buy? Thanks

I would like to know that she is safe hacking tbh, for me any other learning can be done in a school but I don't really like hacking so would prefer someone else to have done the learning to hack bit.

Thanks, she is excellent on the roads and even cantering behind other horses in fields etc so not a problem there. I am hoping to take her to a cross country course this weekend for a bit of experience and then will try and find some local dressage comps to take her to.

I would definitely promote the good hacking part of her educations cos so many horses don't hack or are nervous on the roads and certainly from my friends all of us want safe hackers.

Uh, wait until i have sold my cob and then sell her to me...

I'd get her out to competitions and get some experience behind her. I think it depends on what market you're putting her at though. If you're not asking much for her then Id probably say hacking is more important than competing. I personally wouldnt care about hacking!

Kate 1 feel free to pm me when you sell yours and if i've still got her come and see her. She hacks alone and in company so I think its just the competitions I need to get her out and about a bit. Asking £2750 but willing to negotiate due to current climate. Have just put an ad on newrider. Are there any other free websites which people look on?
