Thats what we are showing.....on the 7th. Have bought in hand show slip and lead in havana. BF has to do the showing as I cant run! Hes got super paces so BF has to do the job. What should he wear. Its RC level. Pony is a NF.

The other question was should he have been bitted? I didnt really want to but the lady in the saddlery said he should be shown with a stallion bit as hes entire- but hes only 12months??
I've always taken it that 2 year olds and above should be bitted and yearlings could show in in-hand headcollars.

Hi, there, from what I understand with showing foresters yearling colts do not need to be bitted - but shown in a leather slip as you say.

As for OH its usually stone/beige trousers, shirt, tie and hacking jacket.

What show are you going to on the 7th? Not THE show is it????

as above turnout wise.

if he is a real handful then you can bit him if it feels the safest option, but at that only with a rubber straight bar snaffle. im sure he will be fine with a leather slip, he is lovely
