Hi there,
Am taking my mare to a local show at the weekend but dont know what classes i can enter her in apart from the obvious, the coloured class!!! she is 15.1hh and not sure what i can put her in, dont want to do working hunter as i hate jumping and she has to jump the 2ft 9 as she is too big for the pony class. She is very well bahaved, safe and sensible so poss family pony/horse, but would quite like to do inhand.
So what do you think?

Yes, I think you're probably right actually.

at local level the judges tend to look at the horses way of going in riding horse classes instead of the whole riding horse type thing... i would go for it... i think i definate hunter horse.. she has the bone for it.. i do have a soft spot for coloureds

Maybe ridden hunter though? Perhaps she would be a bit small though. I don't know much about showing, but maybe condition classes as she looks good to me!

Coloured class
Hunter class (Poss show hunter too)
I think she is a little heavy for riding horse but at local level I would give it a shot
Riding club horse if you don't mind popping a jump and want a ridden class
