I have a 14.1 welsh x arab on loan.

I'd like to set myself a target of getting to a qualifier show next summer - but not sure what classes we could do.

I love working hunter pony, but I'm in my 30's so look a bit stupid alongside all the kiddies in pigtails (and it seems lots of qualifiers stipulate you must be under 20 for the classes I have looked at)

Not sure what else we could do? I'd prefer ridden to in-hand. He's currently hogged but I could grow his mane back before next year.

Part-Bred M&M, Part-Bred Arab, possibly show hunter pony? (I'm not up on the show hunter classes so somebody else on here will be able to advise on those!)

Maxapple, if you're looking at affiliated classes then you would have to be 18 or under for WHP I'm afraid!

Part bred Welsh or PB Arab seem to be your best bet I would think. You would definitely have to grow his mane out!

Is his breeding registered? If not this might prove a problem for affiliated classes

Part bred arab and part bred welsh, you will need to grow the mane back and plait up for these classes, Take a look at Royal London show, they hold loads of qualifiers and the classes are alot more flexible than other qualifying shows - good luck!
