What shows can i do??

Hi everyone,

just need a bit of advice i have a 16.1 Hackney, and thinking of doing some shows this year i am going to so some Intro Dressage (as its been a while i have done dressage) and decided to do some showing classes to.... however i just dont know what classes i can do with a Hackney

can anyone advise?

You can take it in local riding horse classes, and some hackneys can really jump, if yours is one of them then you could do some local WH too

I don't really know much about the breed to help any more, sorry!

If you're just doing fun, local level you could do a class like Riding Club horse, best combination, things like that.

Tack and turnout is always a nice class to start with or best stable/grass kept.

Thanks there is a tack and turnout as well as a riding horse show at my local show so might try them as a starter...

But might pop along anyway to have a nose thank you x

Open Ridden, novice showing, starters, RC horse, rare breeds, handsomest gelding/prettiest mare... Ask the organisers and there'll be loads you can do.
I take my "cart horse" showing so go and have fun!

I own a Hackney X and I am planning on doing some showing this year, but maybe in hand.
