What size bit?

I am going to order my horse a new bit. He ia a 15 hh welsh cob, with a finer type head. I know the sensible thing to do would be to wait till tomorrow and measure the one in his mouth but I am sat at PC with debit card now. Do we think he is a 5"?

The bit is a loose ring snaffle, nothing fancy, just a cyprium one to match his new brass buckled bridle.

i would def wait till tomorrow, my big lad is a 6",my 14.1 was a 5.5" & my welshie is a 4.5"

lol i know what its like,i was ordering bits on his old owners sizing,turns out she had sized him wrong & was putting 5.5" in his mouth when he is a 6"

Wait until tomorrow - most people buy bits that are too small rather than the other way around!
