What size box to send saddle in?

I need to send my saddle back to the saddler for a first reflock but can't remember the size of the box I need to send it in!! Any ideas? I know its a double skin one that I need.

There is a proper size to send them in!! But can't remember what size it is.

No it depends on the width and cut and seat size of YOUR saddle.

Different saddles of mine have needed different boxes.

A 17 inch GP is a different box shape to an 18" dressage saddle with big knee blocks. Measure the size of your saddle and find a box bigger.

I have used a couple of boxes. The first time I went to a wholesalers and looked for a suitable box. The second time I went to the saddlers and got one that rugs had come in. I have no idea what size they were!

I chose ones that fitted snugly and wrapped the saddle in a fleece cover and bubble wrap.

Not seen a double skinned box?
