What size Griffin Nuumed for a 17" VSD saddle

I have been on their website and it mentions that they are generous in sizing, according to their advice I would need to go for a medium, does that work out correctly does anyone know.

Gosh this new saddle lark is a costly business, new stirrup leathers, new girth and new bridle, Oh was moaning about me having a new saddle, little does he know!

I would beg to differ on the generous! I have a 17 1/2 and needed a large and still feels tight!

Oh dear conflicting advice, any one else please, Its the hi wither everyday one I'm looking at if that makes any difference.

Yeah that's what I have. If you go for the medium, you can buy mine lol. Only used a few times.

I use a large for my 17 and 17 1/2" saddles, but it is the everyday version. I don't think this particular version is generous!. Dunno about the padded and fluffy ones.

I use a large Nuumed on my 17.5" dressage saddle and there is still not much extra room!

Hmmm I think then it will have to be a large then, not sure why thay put on their website that the sizing was generous- very strange!

i use xl for 17.5, i would use large if 17

Another vote for large, I have a large hi-wither griffin on my 17.5 GP and it's only just big enough.

My large fits my 17" bates perfectly

I do have the forward cut one though.

Nuumed do a made-to-measure service, so you could either send them the dimensions, or a paper pattern of what you want and exactly where you want the velcro attachments.

The pad for my GP was made to measure as their standard GP shape did not have enough material under the knee rolls.
