Hi can you lovely people help? Looking at a 3.5ton box measurements as follows:
Side unload doorway- Height 1.85m - Width 95cm,
Rear doorway- Height 1.97m width 1.78m
Whole box length :- 3 m
Left hand horse stall Length 1.85m - Width 87cm,
Right hand horse stall Length 1.85m- Width 89cm
Middle barrier can be removed.

What size horse would comfortably fit in here? Ad states 2 small horses but not sure how small?

Thanks in advance!

You are not remotely dim. I should have worded my response differently, apologies.

The pay load is the weight the lorry can carry (legally). So if the lorry weighs 2t, you will be able to load a further 1.5 t onto it before reaching the 3.5t maximum. Bear in mind you need to consider the weight of the fuel, kit, people etc plus the horses.

Have a look at the plate on the vehicle. This will detail the exact weight of the vehicle unladen and will be split between each axle. The plate is likely to be behind the passenger seat.

I suspect you'll not get much more than a 15.2 in there with the length, as that equates to 6ft. Heightwise, you'll be ok at that is about 6ft5". I'm a bit concerned by the width of the side opening though at that is only 3ft wide, I'd back 'em off.

ETA only one 15.2 though, two would possibly be overweight with you another passenger and fuel/water/tack etc. You may get two 14.2s in there if they're not massively porky.
