What size neck rug for my horse?

my boy usually wears a 6 foot 3 rug and is a 14.3hh welsh cob, he has a reasonably chunky but not hugely long neck, what size neck rug should I buy to attach to his Weatherbeeta?
How on earth would I measure him for a neck rug? (will be buying online)

Definately cob size.
I have one horse who has a 6'3 rug and is a TB and another that has a 6'9" rug - Welsh x TB They both take the cob (Medium) size Taka neck rug. The large (Full) ones are too long.
They did have them on www. equestrianclearance.com really cheap - £14.99 dont know if they have any stock left though.

buster is in a 6'9 and has a full size neck so id say go for medium if your horse dosent have to longer neck!

Medium. My horse is 16.3 and has 7ft rugs, all his neck covers are large and they would definatly hang off a 14.3.
