Hi all

Just about to purchase some woof wear brushing boots for my mare but I'm not sure which size to get? She is 16hh Belgian warmblood but is more thoroughbred than anything. She has the smallest feet and is a nice compact horse. So which size should I go for? M or L or both (M for front, L for back - although her hind legs don't seem any bigger than her fronts)

Any thoughts/experiences??

Thanks :)

I find the woof wear ones to be quite generous- I have a pair of large for the hinds on my 16.1 irish who's quite chunky (he suffers with swollen fetlocks as well) and they fit him perfectly. I would go with the medium if I were you :)

I have a 16 hh TB and really struggled to get brushing boots that fitted him, he has very dainty legs. After a recommendation on here I got medium woof wear club boots and they fit perfectly!

I've got some older ones for my mare - normally shes M on fronts and L on backs. The M fronts fit her fine but for some reason I got her M for backs too and theyre a little small but still fit. Shes 3/4 TB.

Hi, My TB wears medium on the front and large behind. My IDX wears large in front.
Id maybe buy large and see where they fit then get either mediums for fronts or XL for hinds?
Good boots I probably wouldnt buy others now

Excellent thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Ordering online so might order mediums first as they should fit her fronts no probs and see if they fit the backs too and then either order more mediums or large as required. Good to know that they are good boots too. I've looked at so many different makes you end up not knowing which ones are going to be any good!

Spot is 17.2 warmblood and hes got Large on the front and XLarge on the back

so I'd prob say get M for front and L for back and try them out, I think my new 16.2 ISH will need M front and L back :)

p.s they are good booties too :)

My share is 16.3/17hh Friesian (not spindly) and wears M on the front and L on the back. XL were much too big behind.
