What size rug do you think???

My big lad at 21 months is wearing a masta/shires/horsewear 6'3 snugly! He's even wearing a derby house 6'6 with no growth in it! (but these seem to come up a bit small compared to the others!!) Anyway I can't pass up the deals on the pets at home site at the mo!! So what size should I buy for either next year or maturity?? Do you think a 7ft would be too big, or likely to grow into it at some point! or 6'9, he's been wearing his mums rugs until now, but I don't have any rugs that big so have to buy them in and at those prices!!......

As a rough guide my 15.2hhs are in 6'3", 16hh - 16.2hhs are in 6'6", the 17.2hh are in 6'9". All are Rambo rugs.

7' rugs are massive. The only 7' rug used at my place is on an 18.3hh Percheron/TB cross.

Cheers for that, it just seems rugs seem to be getting smaller!! My mare 10 years ago wore 6' rugs, then she moved into 6'3 and this year I've bought her a 6'6! And although it maybe an inch long, it's not too big!! And she's 16 years old this year so no chance that it's growth!!!! And the fact that my young boy is already wearing the derbyhouse 6'6!! I thought 7ft he might one day fit!! But as I said I suppose a 7ft derbyhoue equates to a 6'9 anything else!!
