What Size Saddle Do You Fit?

Seen a really nice saddle for one of my ponies to break, it's 15" though

What the chances my size 8/10 arss will fit? I'm 5'8ft. He's a 13.2HH pony or I'd be looking at 17.5" like I normaly do.

What size are you and what size saddles do you fit?

Edited to say its pessoa so flat seat which may be move forgiving?
 
You should be fine- my size 10 bottom fits in a fairly deep gp 16" saddle without any fuss- plus its onyl for breaking in

17.5" would be too big on a 13.2hh I would think. You would prob be better with a 16" tbh

If you have a small arse there is no harm you trying a 16.5", and you could prob. get away with a 16. It won't be a great fit for you, but you have to compromise with your comfort.

) but hence why I have just bought a 17.5" saddle for Star, when I'm a short a*se I'd probably just get a 17" if it were only me riding her - we had to compromise so it would fit all three of us - saddler's nightmare

I think you should try a 16" & 16.5", and see how they work for you both.

I have a beautiful new saddle with an 18"seat and I'm 5ft8. Its the most comfortable thing I've ever sat on but it does feel wierd after years on sitting on much smaller saddles. I'd say you'll fit but it won't be particularly comfortable and I wouldn't want to do it long term
 
i am a size 10 and 5'8. my saddle is 16'' and fits me and my compact 16.2 tb just fine.
Just watch the length of the saddle flaps, i rode in a jeffries 16'' and felt the flaps weren't long enough. A 15'' is prob more of a junior saddle so you may have the same issue with it.
 
Im 5'8 and have a 17" which is grand for me and my 16hh horse. However i had to get a second 16" for my 14.2 as 17" was way too big on her.
 
15 inchs is OK for me, I'm a cloth size bigger than you but a short arse, that is what I ride our 13.1's in. Our slightly niggers boys seem to do well in a 'proper' saddle that is at least 17". When the saddler came for a new saddle for Pip he recommended 16.5"
