what size to get?

Ok... In a fized bit my horse takes a 5". Just about to order a neue schule loose ring snaffle... what size do I get?! Do I go up abit to avoid pinching?

if the bit you have isn't loose ring, you need to go up by at least 1/4 inch but better to go up 1/2 an inch. thats what they told me when i phoned up to ask. you def need the 1/2 inch if your gonna put rubber guards on.

Watch out for the rubber guards - someone in the know told me that they're not allowed in dressage tests!

Neue schule have a bit measure on their website - you can print if off and measure horses mouth just to be sure.
