Please :)
If you were looking to buy a kids 1st or 2nd pony what photos would you like to see, that would make you want to view? Would you prefer a link to a page of various photos as well?

Also, if you did go to view, would you take your child/children or just go by yourself and then if you like, bring the kids?

I am just hankering for ideas/advice please, as would like to do it right for the pony, make sure he goes to the right people and not be passed around by dealers. :)

A link to a youtube video is always good, you can see the pony move and how it behaves etc.

Photo wise, I suppose views of it for conformation, ridden by small person - walk, trot, poss small jump or poles (depending on its ability), hacking. Being groomed and tacked up by small person.

The more photos and scenarios the better and the more confidence that it is a genuine family pony.

Don't want much do I? :)

Forgot to mention whether I would take the child or not. It would depend on whether the child was mature enough to understand that it could be a 'no'.

I took my 13 yr old when we were looking for our 'share' and she was more sensible than me and more realistic regarding our ability :)

It just so happened that when we found the 'one' it was just my husband and I, and we had to do a return trip for DD to view and agree.

:) It's the sort of thing I would use, but wondered if it was OTT! lol.

Absolutely not!!! The more pictures the better, should also keep a few 'timewasters' (how I hate that term) away - hopefully they will see from the photos/video that the pony is not for them.

.

Can understand that! I am happy for someone to view him without, then come back, especially with a first pony, it's so important to make sure he is the right one.
Made an awful cock up when I bought daughter's first pony years ago, we were smitten. Had him vetted and everything and found after (months after) when he had thrown her many times, and others, that he had been drugged and had broken previous owner's daughter's collar bone and was a bucking idiot. :(
Determined to sell this one properly and honestly :)
