What the hell is wrong with me? *long*

No one has criticised you at all, if anything praised the fact you sat to such a massive rear. People have only offered advice as to what the best course of action would be to hopefully prevent this happening again, and rather than take this personally maybe you should realise that there is a lot of sense being spoken here

Try not to take the comments personally, no one is criticising you or suggesting you do not look after your horse. You obviously love her very much and have put in a lot of effort in looking after her.

The reason people are asking about her being in pain is because her behaviour looks very extreme and pain is usually the cause of the problem. It doesn't mean that you are not a good owner, just that horses can't talk and sometimes it's difficult to tell what is going on. Since you have tried vets, dentists, back people, etc. you may want to try her on painkillers for 3 weeks and see if there is any improvement. If she is better then it suggests there may be an undiagnosed physical problem.

The other thing people are suggesting is think hard about riding her again because these rears are massive and if she goes over backwards it could cause a very nasty accident. You are right to be nervous about riding her and in this case maybe you should take your nerves seriously, i.e. decide not to ride her.

she has had theses things recheck since and have found problem with her teeth. i am not stupid and if i felt in danger i would get off rather than make the problem worse.

i have read everyone comments and have taken them on board however people need to read my replys before jumping at me for not checking everything.

Fair enough then, your horse is fine, you have no reason to be nervous, ride her without a second thought

I know you've said she goes best in that bit but i ride my grade A in a pelham because he goes well in it but i do also know that he's more likely to rear in that bit than any other i've tried him in ( not that he's a rearer but he does get quite annoyed sometimes:) ) I would try her in something milder just until you can get her going forward happily.

You are a braver girl than me!

My old pony went over on top of my mother, sat on the back of her head, pushing her chin down into her chest. Damned thing near broke her head clean off.

My mother never rode again and for that reason, rearers, for me are a no go. You make sure you stop before it ever gets that far hun, no matter how much you love the horse.

I would be inclined to go with Mayflower and the seasonal thing as everything else is showing up okay. I was reading the whole post and thinking the same thing and then I got to her post.
I used to have a mare whos seasons were so painful that she couldn't support her own weight when the blacksmith was out or we were picking her feet. He said he had seen it quite a few times. She wasn't ridden by the time the seasons were like this as it started after she had been retired and had a foal due to other issues.
I should imagine if I had tried to ride her like this she would've been an absolute witch!
I know when I am on a painful one, if someone got on my back I would do more than rear!

in fact, someone just has to speak to me and I am tempted to slap them one!

Definately worth investigating; maybe make a diary of every time you rider her with the dates and her behaviour and you may well see a pattern emerge. You need to narrow it down like that or you may never know what worked with her??
Good luck.
