Always like to have a nose on doglost and having Whippy Lurchers & Terriers always look at those first, I wasn't however prepared for this poor little Whippet cross sole found in SN1 postcode. Apparently it has become a dumpinng ground for 17+ dogs. Someone somewhere must know whats going on - WARNING please don't open link if you can't stomach an horrid sight of this poor little lad

Seems mainly SBT however there was another Whippy type dumped there in the same state a few months back - she also went under the care of EGLR and was named Star but sadly didn't pull through. Totally sickening - hounds are such loving dogs and no animal good or bad deserves to be treated that way.
 
That is absolutely sickening, poor poor dog, what a ba**ard/s to treat a dog like that. Hope they catch whose responsible and the dog makes it and gets the chance of a decent hom.
 
There's a thread about him on Dogpages. He spent the night in the vets on a drip, but has started eating little bits of food. He's with Evesham Lurcher Rescue, so will be going into foster so will be getting the very best care. They recently found a lurcher in a similar condition, but sadly she didn't make it.

They have called him Comet and he is slightly improved today - they are feeling a bit more positive about him now, but definitely not out of the woods, poor lad.
