Bit pointless but my next door neighbours made me think! I do mine in the morning by 8 at the latest mostly early when I work. Next door turn up to their stabled horses at about half ten at the earliest has been after eleven at weekend's. I just couldn't leave mine this long. So just wondering what time you all do yours?

Winter I do mine 8.30ish but never later than 9 30. Bring in between 3-4 but will be later now its getting lighter or will be earlier if weather turns!

Im very lucky, as I don't drive yet, a friend outs him out in the am for me- whoever is there first feeds everyone, then she'll rug and turn out for me (DIY livery). I wasn't going to have Red because I can't drive yet, but she said she'd do mornings for me. She is there between 5-9 depending on her work

Then I go down in the pm after work to muck out/hay/get in/groom/feed and get the morning's stuff ready so all she has to do is put his rug on and pop him up the field.

On my days off though, like today, I get the first bus there so I can do it all :D

Weekday mornings - 6 am.

Weekends - usually anytime between 7am & 9.30am.

He is fed breakfast and a new haynet put in (despite the fact I always feed ad-lib hay anyway, so he's never without) so he doesn't overly care if I'm not there until later.

Shes on part livery so during the week I don't go up on a morning but there on the yard at 7am to feed etc evening I get up there just after 4, sometimes they have already caught in others shes still out
weekend I usually go up about 9

Weekends 7.30am and 4 pm
weekdays 5.30 am and 4pm - now its getting lighter I wont go till 5pm ish.

Some people I know don't go up till 11am. I just like mine out as long as possible

During the week 6.20am and 6pm, final check 10pm
Weekends 7.20-8am and 5pm, final check 10pm
This is for winter when they are in overnight. During summer it varies much more as I ride most evenings.

they are fed at 6.30am mid week and out at 7am with a bring in time of 6pm and at the weekends the very latest will be 8.30am (they have extra haylage over night) but tbh it's usually earlier because I feel guilty and in around 4.30pm.

When I can be bothered to get up because they are on 24/7 turnout.

Although, I don't think it's that bad to have a lay in at the weekend and rock up late, providing you give adequate hay so they aren't left hungry for hours.

Sometimes its gone ten by the time i get to my stabled pony at the weekends (maybe im your neighbour? Lol) Pony is 11.2 in a good sized stable with plenty of hay, he doesnt have a routine and does get plenty of turnout

But... If he is to be left later in the morning i am up at the stable till gone 9pm the evening before

I know of quite a few horses bought in at 4pm and not checked again till 7am the following morning so i dont think my pony gets a raw deal

Mine live out. They get their breakfast at a random time, usually between 8 and 10 in the winter, earlier in the summer, and they get their evening hay fill-up between 6 and 9 in the winter, later in the summer.

Mine live out and have ad lib haylage, so I get there at 6pm to check and feed them in the week and whatever time I fancy at the weekend!

Mine get done by 8am at the latest. They are both native types so they can't have excessive amounts of hay without putting on too much weight. I don't think it matters if horses are left till later if they can have ad lib hay, although I wouldn't like the thought they could be ill with colic or something and not be checked for hours.

Out by 6.30am latest on weekdays. Normally try for same at weekend, but I wasn't on the yard until 6.45 this morning and the reception I got would make you think they'd been abandoned :-D

Mine live out too with plenty of hay, so during the week I see them after work around 4.45pm and at the weekend usually ride in the morning, but today im not riding until 1 so had a lie in :p

There is a horse on my yard that stays in some days as the owners doesnt arrive until about 3.30pm. Then they wonder why she is a bit loopy...

We have one on our yard like that, sometimes during the week she is in al week and they come up at 3.30pm, muck out , hay feed and water, and don't bother to come up then til following afternoon

Between 7 and 8am, depending on work. Never later than 8. A few people on my yard don't come until 10am or later, their horses seem happy enough though so I guess whatever suits you. I'm up early every morning anyway as OH is a farmer and hasn't learnt the art of getting up quietly! She comes in at about 3pm, will start getting later now that the nights are getting lighter.

Mine are out all the time but are done at the moment before 9am and I leave the field in the evenings at 5pm because it's dark. They get done later in the evening as it gets lighter.
When I had mine stabled it was similar - I'd never leave a stabled horse unseen past 9am.

I don't stable because I can't guarantee being able to come up enough and it wouldn't be fair on my ponies. Id have to turn out 5.30am to be able to get to work and this just isn't possible for me. I think if the horse has water and hay then being in a little longer is fine. The horses on my yard have 2 slices of straw for a bed, fresh daily, so by the morning, they are basically stood in a poo and wee filled stable, nothing to lie on and no hay. The horse could happily live out (and did before they had it) but apparently it prefers being in... I doubt that very much!

Get to the yard for 8:30, she has a haynet and is groomed and lunged/walked out before she's turned out so doesn't actually go out until 10ish!

weekdays sometimes out at 5.30, latest 6.30 to get everything done before work. weekends sometimes as late as 9- although i am normally up earlier than that as wake up early anyway- however, i therefor put in extra hay so they don't run out. in at about 4- it is so wet even though we have more daylight they want to come in. they don't seem to get stressed by a few more hours in any way. one person we have on livery does not come up to muck out (her horse is on box rest) until about 10-11 after she has taken her son to school and walked her dogs. so she leaves a hay net for my friend to put in at about 6.30am as he has normally eaten all his hay and she feeds him as well.

Before i lost my job would be 6.30 weekdays and 7.30 weekends, between 4.30 and 6.30 evenings, now I'm not working I'm at the yard from 9-1 then 4-6
Hopefully starting new job soon so will be down about 5.30 am then back to ride and mu k out about 2.30!

When I'm working i get there between 6:30 - 6:45, turn him straight out (he doesn't get breakfast unless it's frosty & i don't change his turnout to a stable rug). then back up between 5:15 & 6pm ish depending on when i get out of work to bring in & finish him off.
On my days off I try to get up there by 8ish and bring him in same time as when i am at work.

In the summer he lives out so I won't get there til 7:20 ish on the mornings i work & 9am ish when i am off

I often don't go until about 9.30am,but he's used to it & someone feeds him & put a fresh haynet up 1st thing so he's ok until I get there later.
