I only ask because I start a new job soon and wont be getting up the yard till about 6.15, both ponies will be living out by then so all I'll need to do is change over rugs, pick out feet, and give din dins and couple times a week ride....is this too late?

No not at all. After all they have to fit in round us sometimes. I once met a saddler who did a lot of work in America and he said in really hot areas they sometimes had to work horses at 2am when it was cooler. So they can adjust to most things. It is a routine that they like.

Anytime between about 3 and 7 depending on work. My horse stays up the field eating grass until I turn up, and then waits patiently in the yard while I muck out etc (normally very early starts in the morning so no time) and has his tea anytime between about 4 and 7.30 at this time of the year. I think they get used to whatever your lifestyle dictates.

5ish. Inka is at work so what ever time I finish work she gets done, usually 5ish. She knows when the others get done she will be done soon.
The cobs live out and mum does them about 4ish because we don't have lights.

As long as you have a routine your horse will adapt to it and it will become normal to him.
I work f/t, my ponies get done sometime between 5 & 6. At the weekend I always try to be at them for 8.30am and not bring them in too early so to keep them the same as other days

Not too late at all. Some days I get up at 3pm, other days like today it was nearer to 5:30pm. Just means I'm a bit later getting home, didn't get home tonight till about half 7 (but had tea ready and waiting for me!). When I got to the yard there was only 1 horse at the gate out of 6 so I don't think they mind

On the days I get up later I don't tend to ride, normally ride in the morning if I am definitely not able to ride in the afternoon.

After work is generally about 5.30-5.45pm. Some evenings I'll ride, so might not leave the yard until about 7.30-8pm ish or even later.

Certainly not too late at all - I muck out in the mornings & get the stabel ready for the afternoon when he is brought in, so just have to finish him off in the evenings.

They'll soon get used to the new routine, as will you!

5am if i'm working. Around 8 if i'm off. Then back down at 5ish if i'm off. Luckily if i'm working a night another livery deeds her and brings her in, in the evening.
