Mine are fed around 4pm at this time of year and get their hay nets at around 4.30pm. In the summer it's an hour later.
They are always fed at the same time in the mornibg which is 730am.
My boys get theirs at 4-4.30. My girly gets hers between 5 and 6. The horses at work get theirs between 4 and 5.
It depends on what is happening and how late we are running.
Just about to go out and do mine so about 8 30. Brecci (coz I am lazy) at 6 am. He has 18lbs of hay over night from 5 pm and usually has a handful left in the morn.
Mine comes in anytime between 3pm and 5pm usually about 4pm. He has his hay then and no more until the morning but then he always has some left in the morning so I don't see the problem with it being so early.
Morning feed between 7 and 8 at the moment and only half a bowl of pony cubes just to give him something to munch on while I change his rugs.
Get fed at around 6pm and hayed then. They get a big bundle dropped on the floor though, and always have a few bits left so must do ok. Also on straw beds so can always pick on those if they need too (they are banned frm oat straw though - naughty neds go loopy on that!!!)
Ours have tea and only ONE section of hay at 4.30pm
They go at at 10am!
But they are very good doers and we always struggled to keep weight off and they still came in at night in the summer.
My boy goes to bed at 4:30pm with ad lib haylage i.e x2 large haynets plus a rather large pile on the floor. There is always a little excess haylage left over in the morning.
They come in (hay in field) at 5.30 for tea and a hay net, I like to do a late night check anyway so they get another net. Whether they eat much of the first one depends on how tired or hungry they are!
Mine come in just before dark and we go back out to them between 10.30 and 11.30p.m. Refill hay, take out poo and give another short feed.
It does make it easier though as they are kept here at home.
My yard hays between 3 and 4pm which I think is a bit early especially seeing as the horses only get limited amounts (only lasts a few hours). I was always taught that horses shouldn't go more than 8 hours without eating as it is bad for their digestion/can cause colic/stomach ulcers, anyone else heard this?

Ours come in at 4.30ish at the mo and hay is already in. Mine have enough to last through the night. I wouldn't want them going more than a few hours without something to nibble on. They are also on good straw so they can pick at that too.
Long periods without fibre mean the digestive acids start to damage the stomach walls and that when ulcers start. I read some research a few years back which said its suspected a huge number of riding horses have undetected stomach ulcers due to modern feeding practices.
I am lucky they are at home, so last hay when dogs have their last run, between 10 and 10.30 usually. Pony usually has some left in the morning but Murph will have eaten all his. They have been out the last few nights as it has been so mild which is great, though not looking so good again for next week
I am on DIY and work full time, so in the week she gets dinner and her last haynet 6 - 7.30, doesn't have any left in the morn but she is a fatty. At weekends its usually a little earlier 5 at the earliest.
The full liveries on my yard are all done at 4.30. It's what they are used to and waht is convienient for you.
My yard also do a late check at about 9
Mine alway have full nest day and night - they are out 6-6 and have constant hay in field and come in to big haylege nets and always half full in the morning!
Ours get brekkie at 05:45 then turned out all day, in 17:30 - 18:30 (dependant on shift) and come in to a full net and feed, checked again at 10-10:30 and given 3rd feed and hay topped up if needed
