Romeo, has been barefoot for 9 Months now due to navic? bilateral lameness, was progressing well, but the last month going downhill again. my EP was concerned so i had my vet out who did a lamness workout and said he felt the problem was coming from his coffin joints.
We got x-rays from previous owner,s vet from three years ago when he was lame before they showed an old navic fracture on near fore and coffin bone problems on both.
My vet decided as a first treatment to inject both joints with steroids, this was a week ago, no noticable improvement, vet nd EP coming tomorrow to evaluate him tomorrow, but i think maybe shoes might have to be put on or wraps at least, don,t know what to do for the best could do with some supportive advise please
