I've somehow totally lost the keys to my lorry,i've turned my house upside down, searched my car,all i have left to look is the yard but the last time i had them down there was on saturday and know doubt our tractors driven them deep into the mud if they've dropped out of my pocket,i really need to sort it out a.s.a.p as i have 6 people viewing it this saturday as it's for sale, any advice/ideas???? I've told the girls down the yard to keep a look out and i'm going to turn the place upside down when i go to the yard in the morning, these things only happen to me,i know i won't be able to sleep now because of it,i'm fed up.

You can get replacements really easily and very quickly. Phone up your main dealer for advice.
Once you have a new set sorted your original one's will turn up.

So long as it is a VW that you have lost keys for, then yes.

Quess i better contact them tomorrow if i can't find them down the yard. I feel so crap losing them as it's really set back my plans now,can you tell i'm feeling sorry for myself! oh well life goes on

Not sure what type of lorry keys you have lost but there were some Iveco keys handed in at Bromyard Equestrian Centre, see there web site for info. Good luck I know how frustrating it is I am forever losing my keys .

Try the ignition - that's were I left mine!

Try every pocket of every jacket, jods etc for them. Try the other locks, maybe you've left them there. Clutching at straws really - hope you find them!

did think about a metal detector but i wouldn't know where to borrow one from!!!??? Looked in all my coats etc,i'm quessing or rather hoping their down the yard now as that only leaves them getting lost out of my handbag when we went out for dinner Nr London on sat night, don't ask why i keep them in my bag on evenings out,i just remember that i'd been leaving them in my bag recently in case i needed them for any reason as the yard is quite far from home and i like them to be with me really.

Get the model number, chassis number and engine number from your log book and see if the ignition lock has a number/manufacturer on it. Phone up the dealers to see if they can identify the keys which fit the vehicle.
If the keys can not be found and the manufacturers don't have a method of identifying the key number or have a master key then the only alternative is to have the ignition lock changed or have a new barrel put in it if the lock can be fitted with one. Alternative ask your delaer for the contact details of a local automotive key/lock specialist as they may have the technology to fabricate a new key for you.
