Hello - if anyone has any experiences or advice I'd really love to hear about it.
My baby boy had hyonate injections at the beginning of July for coffin joint arthritis, he also had poor foot balance and is being shod every 4 weeks and in natural balance, box rest then restricted turn out and has been walking out now for 10-20 minutes for about 2 weeks. I trotted him last night for the first time in a straight line and he is as lame as he was before...gutted.
The good news is that he is no longer an angry horse so I can only assume he is out of pain but the lameness is still there - just not sure if it is stiffness that would come good if worked through it.
I've called the vet - waiting to see what they say but in the meantime I'd be grateful to hear from you HHO'ers
Also, not sure where I stand with insurance, I've just put a claim in for his diagnosis and treatment - if he needs more will I still be covered or will it be treated as a new claim?
Thanks everyone
