I am showing my welsh at his first show in a couple of weeks and he has no mane he has got sweetitch and he has rubbed a big section of it down to about 3 inches long. Do i leave it or do i pull it short and get some extensions in it lol

can you take some of his tail to make extensions with? am sure someone made some clip in ones a while back but can' remember who.

Yeah i thought about that knowing my luck they will proberbly fall out in his trot up and lay there like a dead rat lol

If he's a Welsh cob, could you hog him? I know absolutely nothing about showing so sorry if that's a completlely horrendous suggestion.

but Frank was hogged when I bought him, approx 12 months to look decent again enough for show ring

NO DON'T HOG HIM!!! If you want to show you never hog a native.

Genie's lost a fair bit of mane from winter rugs and is doing well showing locally this season. At local level I would leave it, but as most here know, I hate seeing a D with a pulled mane!!!

Genie's mane:

I wouldn't know where to start with Bella's mane

But then she is only a baby so it will probably sort itself out in time *crosses fingers*
