Ok - had back lady out on Saturday because horse wasn't right - I can tell when his back is out. She said he had quite a few things wrong - pelvis out, vertebrae all along his spine, also in his neck and his atlas was also out. She put them all right and said she'd come back in 3 months.
Now, he usually takes a few days to settle after a treatment, but I didn't get the chance to ride on Monday as it was hammering down. I rode him on Tues night and just walked around the school - he was a bit iffy at first - tail swishing and evading aids, but he relaxed after a few minutes.
Tonight, he came in from the field in a bit of a mood. He had been spooked I think as he wouldn't come past the haylage bales when I led him in, he wouldn't stand still when I tied him up and he went nuts when I moved my other horse a few feet away from him.
Anyway, I took him in the school and he seemed a bit jumpy, started riding and he was swishing his tail and not happy to work at all.
I can't decide whether he has possibly charged round the field and put his back out again, or if he's still sore from the treatment as he had a lot done and is being evasive because of that. Don't know whether to ring the back lady to come back or not
What do you think????
PS. Cookies if you got this far!
