What to do?

What on earth do you do with a horse that backs off whenever you go to a new venue. I thought she had stopped this, but thinking about it I have been to the same venues so she's used to them. I am not in anyway nervous, so it's not coming from me.

does she go to the shows on her own? she might get confidence from another horse

it may be expensive, but maybe try and take her to shows and work her in but not compete, that might help relax her?

Mixture really sometimes alone, sometimes with others. She used to be very nappy when she was young. We then had a battle of wills, sadly she now looks to me to look after her, which isn't always helpful.
