We're picking up our springer boy this Saturday, So far I've got a bag of "Step up to Naturals"dry puppy food as that is what puppies are currently on and got some same brand wet food to go with. Personally I hate wet dog food and would rather make homemade. I'm not entirely persuaded on RAW.
My mother makes her two a mixture of cooked mince and veg with a kibble base and that was a thought but neither was on that as a puppy and I don't know if pup would be getting the right amount of nutrients to grow healthily.

Halp please

All my puppies (including a Springer) have been raised on Millies Wolfheart, very high quality kibble, gluten, egg and chicken free. My vets always complement me on my dogs condition. They don't do a puppy specific food as all their foods are suitable, you can email or phone for advice.

If you are not sure on the raw I think edan is a good option it's kibble but without fillers etc look them up on Facebook they are really good advising what to feed. I use it along with raw

We got Millie's Wolfheart for the puppy after recommendations on here, and she's doing really well on it. We also got some for Suzie, our older Westie who has suffered with stomach problems for years, regular vomiting and diarrhoea, but since she's been on the MWH, she hasn't had a problem, which is just brilliant news, and means I can't recommend it highly enough.

Try allaboutdogfood website. Look for 4-5 stars. Last pup I had was weaned onto Wainwright's trays, my old dog is on that. My two others are on raw, but had Orijen until I persuaded my OH to go raw.

And just because he's adorable (middle dog in sig pic below, sitting funny cos he's desperate to run off):
