What to feed him??

My lads on box rest at the mo, however i dont know what to feed him. He is mad all the time, but currently feels the need to buck and spin around his stable! This is not doing his poorly leg any good.

So what to feed so that he keeps his weight on, but doesnt send him any more nuts! I have tried just hi-fi but he wont eat it! His is also quite fussy!

So all suggestions on a post card please!!

If he wont try just hi - fi then try putting some honey with it - i had this suggested by a nutritionist - not sure if it has to be a special kind of honey though, probs best to ask at a feed merchant or saddlery

I did just putting some molassa (sp?) but he still wouldnt have it! I did think about molly chop??

Feed him nothing but ad lib forage.
A horse with a leg injury wants as little weight on him as possible.

How about fibre pencils or maybe grass nuts?
