What to feed weanling?

Hi there, I have just rescued a newly weaned 8 month old fell X cob filly who has lived out since birth so is basically a big, matted, furball, she doesn't seem to be underweight, but eats a lot, although this has slowed since worming her, currently on haylage, a standard chaff/pony nut mix, with a bit of ready grass... Just wondering what people recommend feeding her, or what you feed your youngsters? Thanks

She's of hardy native breeding so personally I would just give a mug of balancer and nothing else. The grass is coming through and the last thing you want is fat baby horses!
