What to feed when he has an upset tummy

Day before yesterday my boy ate some old food that had ended up on the pavement outside my neighbours house. During that night he was very sick (Vomit). Yesterday morning I only gave him his pills and water, but he continued to vomit.

I took him to the vets and they gave him an injection of Cerenia (this stops the sickness) and one of Zantac (to help his tummy). He was to have another Zantac tablet last night and this morning and evening and Monday morning.

They also gave me some tinned food for gastric upsets but he does not like it.

He needs to take tablets for his thyroid which I have been able to get down him as they are very small

I always go for plain boiled rice and scrambled egg

Thanks. I'm off down to ASDA to get some Chicken as he seems to like the Chicken cat food and has just had his pills with a small amount of that

Boiled rice left in the water rather than strained with just a taster of chicken or tuna.
A teaspoon of tuna will flavour a mugful of rice.

We usually go with chicken and rice ( except for the ones with rice allergy) or scrambled egg.

Chappies tinned food and a scrambled egg. When Dylan had his bug he vomited on and off for a week and I ended up using pepto-bismal (spelling?) which settled his tum.

Chicken and rice boiled together - she loves it. I swear she gets sick just to get it!
