what to feed

Hi
5 year old ID X TB mare looks amazing, the last of Torspark Benedict. Won In hand at the Yorkshire Show as two year old She is just so lazy under saddle it is very difficult to switch her on, she is fed on performance mix with high quality forage. Can any one suggest how to put some gusto into her.

My bone idle ISH is going the best he's ever gone on Allen & Page Power & Performance. I school for 3 blocks of 15 mins with a free walk / stretch down in between each, & he used to give up after the first block, but he will now do the full 45 mins. He's 6 & I'd say he's improved 30% from how he was on Allen & Page Calm & Condition. He gets 1/2 scoop SB & 1 large scoop Alfa A with 1 1/2 scoops of P&P twice a day. Lives out with hay.

I tried Propell Plus & micronised peas which are rocket fuel... he was just as idle, but spookier, so he'd dawdle along & then suddenly shy at nothing. Usually he's too lazy to spook. I would rather he was consistently idle than idle & spooky...
