What to feed my ultimate good doer who is still overweight (from when I brought him) and is now on box rest for 2 months and then still out of work for the next 2-4 months afterwards (thankx to colic surgery).

Currently gets a very very very small amount of soaked high fibre cubes with horse first keep me sound, global herbs super skratch, and little bit of garlic to hide the taste of the super skratch. Plus soaked hay and his salt lick.

Just interested to see what other people would feed him.

A low calorie or "light" balancer with a small amount of low cal chaff -or considering he's had colic surgery, rather than change his diet, maybe you could keep him on the same tiny tiny amount of high fibre cubes with a handful of low cal chaff and add in the low cal/light balancer or a powdered multi vitamin supplement.
