A balanced mineral supplement, I use Pro Hoof bought on eBay. I add linseed, salt and mag chloride for his feet, all mixed into a handful of fast fibre. Hes trimmed by an EP and is barefoot although it will be a long process! He had hideous shod feet when I bought him. The trim helped, and as he had white line disease, seedy toe, and chronic thrush, treating them has helped a lot. I couldnt have treated them while he was shod. I can see the better quality hoof growing down from the point I bought him 2 months ago but it will be a long process as the crappy hoof has to grow out first, along with all the other issues my boy had with is feet

You want to make sure whatever feed you use has Lysine, vit D and and Vit B in it, if you dont feed a mix then get a broad spectrum supplement to feed. You can promote hoof growth by using cornucrescine, but most of all, get yourself a good farrier.
