What to spray buttercups with?

Ok, I've heard the rumours of a good spray fo buttercups with 14 day horse withdrawal period, anyone know the name?

I heard buttercups is a lime defitiancy in the ground.

Get the ph tested too, you will be wasting your money spraying them if your ph is low as they'll come back.

we have just used agritox 50 ,the horses had a week off the field and have just gone back on,all the buttercup are gone so it works and is low a toxic weedkiller

You really need to spray before the flowers come out! bit late

My agricultural merchants told me its too late to spray as they are in flower. I am going to spray next year. A friend confirmed this as she sprayed whilst hers were in flower and they are back again.

Yep I have just enquired about mine and was told too late once they are in flower, you will have to have the field topped wait for them to regrow and then spray them before they flower or do it in the autumn or next spring before they flower, plus as somebody said you need to adjust the ph balance of your soil.
