cool will try blade as i think we have one .. still like the the glove especially when new as your hand moulds to the shape you are grooming good round legs and face etc.. thanks for input..
Large Rubber curry comb and also use massager/groomer comb can't for the life of me recall were it came from but fits into your hand and has long rubber teeth like fingers almost and when worked in a circles takes the coat into the the teeth and therefore making it easier to place coat into the bin and not so much all into my fleece.
I have resorted to them on my mini as his seriously thick coat just wasn't shifting and with temperatures up to 16C today he was very uncomfortable. He's changed colour rather dramatically.
Usually, on the others I use a rubber curry comb, or an ordinary hairbrush, the horses prefer the hairbrush.
Shedding blade or those grey blocks that I cant remember what they are called. Also for the head and legs the plastic scourers are fantastic for getting hair and mud off when your horse hates the curry comb on anything harder on there.
Rubber curry, and a Smart coat rake on the Cushings shetland. It is amazing, the best piece of kit I've ever invested in. Someone on here recommended it and it's worth every penny.
Shedding blade and curry comb, also I was a cruelly owner and left my horse muddy for two days then groomed him thoroughly and masses of coat came off.
The dog's Furminator works better than anything else we've got to hand. Got out enough for three blackbirds nestbuilding this afternoon (they were fighing over it as it blew up the garden) with plenty spare I swept up into a football sized pile.
