What to use on fly bites?

My horse had a few lumps on his stomach that i think are fly bites. He doesnt have many & they don't cause him any pain.
Are there any reccommended products to use on them?

Gold Label's Wondergel - great for any insect bite (probably not suitable to be used on broken skin though)

My vet recommends use of human grade cortisone cream on flybites.

I have some tea tree first aid spray I use on my boy- it stops them itching too much and repels the flies so he doesn't get bites on top of bites- he has a fly rug but they seem to be able to bite him through it!
