I have an interview on Monday for a job working at a yard. I need to make an good impression as I need this job - and am travelling 3 1/2 hours EACH way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have asked if they will want me to ride and they have said no.

Do I go in jodphs etc anyway - as will be looking round yard, accom etc or go in jeans????

Cheers

Jo

I'd say it depends on what sort of yard it is? If it is a BHS type yard then jods and a smart shirt perhaps, if it is a competition yard then I'd go for perhaps black jeans and a smart top. I can't imagine wearing blue jeans to an interview of any description but perhaps that's just me!

Hi HH

its a breaking and schooling yard.
They know im going down on the train - and how long its gonna take me Lol

I dont want to mess it up with wearing the wrong thing, as they must like me to invite me down!!!!!!!!! especially as i dont have any qualifications Lol

I'd wear somthing smart casual. Agree that blue jeans probably won't be a good idea, but would go for black ones. Wear a smart shirt.

I'd take, hat and a pair of jods just in case.

Good luck!

I had an interview at a stud recently and wore dark jeans, a striped shirt and navy jumper with deck shoes. Smart but worklike.
