What to wear for Hickstead

Im off to hickstead for the first time this week Just wondering what do people wear as im dragging my mum and dad along too so what do the ladies wear for mum and what do fella's wear for me and dad is it just jeans and a shirt or t shirt or is it breeches and nice riding top?? (mum and dad are not horsey at all)

Be comfortable. Jeans and a shirt or t-shirt will be fine. Unless you're hoping for a chance ride I'd say leave the breeches at home Have fun - Hickstead is a lovely venue, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

anything and everything is worn there. It does bug me when people wear jodphurs when not riding, don't really understand it myself! I love Hickstead and am going everyday!

Be sensible with footwear - comfy shoes - ie. trainer etc... there can be some hidden ruts and I now wear my paddocks boots for extra ankle support!

You will be fine in casual and comfy. You can leave the wardrobe in the car if you wish! Enjoy yourselves.
