I have never done a showjumping or clear round before but have decided to give it a go with my traditional cob next month as it is during a showing event I was already going to :)
I was planing on wearing my black show jacket, cream jods, white shirt, black tie, black gloves, black boots and chaps is this acceptable for me??? (Body protector on top too he's never been out jumping properly before  )
And for him is a double bridle ok? As he gets pretty strong out competing and as its before my showing events would normally have him in a double anyways?
Would a royal blue saddle pad and earnet be alright or white saddle pad and earnet? With black boots too :)
Sorry for the mass of questions but would rather get it right and look correct hahaha 😄

For a clear round at a local show you can wear whatever you want. I've done them in my yard clothes before when I didn't have anything else with me and fancied a go. Tack, anything goes :)

Ok it's at a small county show so wasn't sure as a lot of people from my yard who have gone have worn actual show stuff :) might just wear my normal showing stuff then so I don't have to change in between classes

If you're wearing show stuff I'd probably wear a stock shirt without a stock. Normally I'd judge it on what the rest of the competition is required to turn out in.
