What to wear to the polo?

Ive never been before, what is the dress code? Dress, hat and heels? Trousers and nice top or Jean and shirt?

Depends on the event in question but whatever you do don't wear spiky heals - however posh the match you want to be able to stomp in divots so cute ballerinas or wedges are as dressed up as the feet should go!

So smart trousers, nice top and flat shoes would be ok then? I struggle with these kind of things! I'm not a girly girl and I have issues with my feet so cant wear heels
