Hi,
I am going hunting this weekend and i am not sure what to dress me in or the horse!
Here is what i have:
Tweed Jacket
Green tie
Cream Jods
Brown Chaps
Black boots
Black Hat
Black crop

^ is this okay for me?

For the horse unfortunatly i think the tack is brown im not sure but so far i have this:
Brown bridle
Brown saddle
Brown Le Mieux numnah...

The horse's tack is quite old does it matter what condition its in obviously nothing's going to drop off.
My horse is appaloosa and i cannot plait her mane so aslong as the tack and my turnout look clean and smart will it be okay?

That would be fine. If you can beg, steal or borrow either some brown short boots or some long boots that would be great, but don't stress about it if not (long leather boots protect your legs better than chaps if you bump them on gate posts or catch them on a wire fence, so if you really get into hunting might be worth an investment). If it is forecast to be cool then either put a t-shirt or baselayer on underneath your shirt or try to borrow a waistcoat.
If it looks like being a wet day then you might want to add a waterproof in a discreet colour to your list of kit to take/wear.

As long as the tack is safe and clean then it will be fine and dandy. Nobody expects you to be kitted out in brand new tack. But you don't want your day to be ruined by a snapped stirrup leather or a broken rein. I have seen some nasty falls from a leather giving way.

Jenhunt may have some tips on taming manes to make them look as tidy and as smart as possible. She should be along soon.
