I am about to enter an in hand Hunter Class. What should i wear? Also can my horse wear a standard showing bridle or should he have a flat hunter noseband with me holding the reins? Also does anybody know the procedure for these classes? I have done similar things before but dont want to get it wrong! Thanks

Smart dark coloured trousers i.e cords/moleskin, dark boots, tweed jacket and toning tie/shirt.

You should also wear a hat ie beagler/tweed/felt whatever suits you really, no button holes coloured browbands.

Youngstock/stallions can be shown in an in hand bridle otherwise a double/pelham

Thank you so much for your advice... do i take it that cream/beige jods would not be acceptable at all? Also i have a skull cap and a blue velvet cap, would the cap be better?
Do i need to carry a short whip too and wear gloves?
Sorry for all the questions. I have been desperatley trying o find photos of in hand hunter classes but cant find a single one!!
Thanks again, any help is appreciated!
