I desperately want to get a trailer so my friend and I can take our Miniature Shetlands out and about. What can I use to transport them around? I seen on the internet some people had put a large dog crate in the back of the car but I can reassure you, you wouldn't find me doing that in a million years!!! That could end up so badly :(

The lady we bought my daughters minature horse from, had a Bateson trailer which she had had adapted to travelling three MH's in by putting herringbone partitions in.

People look at me a little strangely when I get my two minis out of a three horse trailer! My OH has made me a wooden partition that goes across the rear end of the trailer and is simply fixed to the centre pole by a couple of strong G clamps and has a lift out section to exit them from. Made it out of the timber from a cabin bed! Girls travel loose in the back and don't weigh enough to affect the stability of the trailer.

Thanks for your replies :)

We'll be travelling with a maximum of 3 at times but probably just 1 most of the time. Unless I get another one of my own - which wont take much persuasion :p
