What type cooler rug ? please

Much as I would like a thermatex rug I really don't think that I can justify spending that amount on one at the moment (need new body protector and a few other items etc) What about similar rugs in other makes ? such as Weatherbeeta Thermocell or the Coolmasta. Any suggestions/feedback gratefully accepted. Many thanks

Mark Todd Coolex rugs are apparently really good (some poeple think they're the next best to a Thermatex, some think they're better). Usually about £80/90 so a bit cheaper than a Thermatex. I've not seen the Weatherbeeta Thermo Cell but IMO you can't go far wrong with a Weatherbeeta.

I usually like Weatherbeeta rugs but the Thermo cell one seems a little thin to me and dont think it would do the same job as a Thermatex. Aerborn do a Luxury Fleece cooler which is quite nice and only about £40, does seem quite thick though?
