Carrots, apples, parsnip, turnip, broccoli plants, pear peelings, sprouts peelings, sometimes they'll graciously accept cabbage...

Never known him to turn his nose up at anything either edible or inedible!!!

I had no idea they ate such a variety what an interesting post.

We have lots of cherry and waltnut trees. My horse fight over the cherries and spit out the pips they love walnuts too.

Don't forget that uncooked potatos are poisonous!!!!!!!!!

We had a shetland cross that had had a major colic operation before we got it as inexperienced owners had been feeding raw potato peelings!!!!!!!!!!!

Carrots are the biggie on our yard as a couple of the ponies dont like anything else, although my veteran mare does like the odd parsnip or turnip/swede in her feeds too.

We had a labrador like that once - if you peeled an orange within a hundred yards of him he would come begging for a slice! None of my other dogs have ever shown an interest in oranges!!
