Deary me...
I know someone who lost a finger to a rubberised line and one of our lodgers broke their finger from wrapping our dog's leather lead around it. Having said that I got a lovely flexi leash (rope not tape) burn on my leg this morning so I can't really talk.

I remember a friend of mine getting a horrendous rope burn all across the palm of her hand when her horse buggered off when she was bringing him in..... my horses just tread on me for greater effect 🙄

Mine buggered off once when unloading her from a trailer at a show and ripped the full length of a lead rope through my fist. I put leather gloves over the top and rode all day (young, stupid...

Laugh harder...I was putting air in my tyres and thought the hairy hallion would be fine with just hanging out in the garden and chilling while the compressor was doing it's thing. Not continually running to the end of a 10m line.
